Abstract : This paper raises the question of the writing of self in a research memoir in the field of clinical psychology in Sciences of Education : forbidden writer’s position ? University norms would come to meet the unconscious to forbid the subject to reveal himself. Compared data : excerpts from memoirs, drafts, but also written answers to a question evoking an impossibility to let free choice of the memoir subject, showing that if there is interdict, it goes through the doors. Indeed, if profiles seem to emerge around a commitment on which one discourses without defining it or around a clearly expressed commitment, two types of indications appear as a general rule : on the one hand, the desire to argue, to be the one who « says » or « makes things change », on the other hand, the alternations or breakings of position (unexpected changes of referent, of modality, or of focus). Thus the indications would be to search among the « slips of the distancing ».This first study, focusing on the student, also invites to turn towards the accompanying of such writings.
Keywords : Writer’s position - Unconscious - Interdict - Writing of self - Enunciation - slip of the distancing.
