Abstract :  Time is referred to whenever you organize a training course from the moment that this training distinguishes between the teaching, supposed for a group, and the learning, accepted in its personalizing process. The myths linked to time play an important part in all the civilizations. The various ways mankind represented time show how their conception of time has evolved from their distinction of a circular time that refers to Gods and an approach of a linear time that refers to the perception of existential time. The conclusions of a piece of research work that focuses on the differenciations of the representations of time by a group of children and adults, lead us to question the break between projected time, as embodied by Chronos, and the time of opportunity, the myth of Kaïros, in its repercussions on cognitive processes.
 Key-words :  adults’time, children’s time, Kaïros, myths, representation.
