Résumé : L’article évoque l’actuelle transformation du modèle éducatif, du fait de l’émergence de différences qui questionnent non seulement les enseignants mais le pouvoir politique et l’ensemble de la société. De ce fait, la tâche de simple éducation du différent devient celle d’une éducation au différent, avec toutes les conséquences inhérentes à cette mutation, notamment le développement d’une pratique concrète de la sollicitude chez l’enseignant.

Abstract : The author is discussing the actual transformation of the educational pattern, with the emergence of differences which are questioning not only the practice of teaching, but also the political power and the whole society. Thus, the normal task of educating the different people has to be transformed into an education of the teacher to the different. For the teacher, this new perspective entails as an essential consequence that a practice of thoughtfulness should be more and more effective in his (her) classroom.
